About Estepona

Its a family business and offers great plates for reasonable prices and kids are welcome. The steaks are very good. Other restauarnts worth mentioning are the Iglu in the Centro Comercial El Pilar, offering international cuisine, El Rincon Toscano on Calle Real with typical Italian dining and the Tehuelche Grill Argentino. If you like a good bottle of wine, be sure to go by taxi as the staff in most restaurants will call you a taxi after your meal.
 
Things to do in Estepona
The old town of Estepona is a lovely historic area of Estepona with a nice little old square, quaint streets, nice little shops to look in and decent places to snack and take a coffee. Of all of the beaches in the municipal area of Estepona, Del Cristo beach is probably the prettiest. Its a lovely situated beach with shallow water, safe for children and non swimmers who like to have a paddle. It also has a couple of very nice beach bars but keep in mind that it can get very busy in July and August, especially when the Spanish locals are on holiday. In the Puerto Deportivo you will find Valero Intrepido, a company that offers mini cruises in a beautiful classic sailing boat. you get a full two hours to watch the spectacular Spanish coastline from the sea where you are likely to see some dolphins. They can also organize private parties, romantic dinners and barbeques. Drinks are provided for free and children up to twelve also go free!
